Within the Vehicle Motion division we design and develop state-of-the art safety and motion solutions for passenger cars light trucks and up to medium heavy truck. Vehicle Motion provides solutions for mobility through steering braking occupant safety and vehicle dynamic sensors. Vehicle Motion is also a leader in the software and services that will support the future of Software Defined Vehicles.
As the Commercial Manager you will support all VM products for West Coast Customers.
You will be a key contributor to the financial success of the team driving business planning current forecasts volume planning collection of payments and the tracking of those against the organizations KPIs.
In this role you will present and defending key figures to regional and global leadership. Additionally you will work with the sales organization and the local controlling team to assure correctness and accuracy of the provided data.
Qualifications :
Required Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or a related discipline.
- 7 years in the automotive industry understanding and reporting sales KPIs. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in driving business planning volume planning sales forecasting and collection of payments.
- Advanced analytical capabilities with proven experience in working with large and complex datasets translating numerical data into actionable business insights.
- Strong presentation expertise confidently delivering complex data insights to senior leadership to enable informed decision-making.
- Advanced Excel skills and expertise with PowerPoint and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in effectively delegating responsibilities while fostering a culture of accountability and ownership (within the direct team in the region as well as CSA in Cluj/MX).
- Proven ability to lead work packages and projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and successful submission of deliverables.
- High emotional intelligence to effectively navigate diverse stakeholder interests while encouraging collaborative outcomes.
- Ability to mentor and guide new team members particularly in understanding and executing the overall sales process and achieving key sales KPI.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills consistently meeting deadlines while delivering high data quality.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
