Internal Communications Specialist

At Talen Energy your work fuels this role youll do more than contribute youll drive meaningful change by:

• Develop and distribute internal communications such as newsletters safety/tailboard packages and plant updates.
• Produce leadership video messages scripts and multimedia content.
• Support communication needs during outages drills and emergency preparedness activities.
• Create and manage digital content for internal platforms and signage.
• Assist with external communication community outreach and media coordination.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and subject matter experts to ensure clear accurate consistent messaging.

What You Have

• Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism or related field.
• 35 years of communications experience; utility or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong writing editing and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex topics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic video editing tools.
• Excellent organization attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated fastpaced environment.
