We are seekinga passionatebiostatisticianto join our growing team. As a key member oftheAscendis Pharmateam you will play a crucial role in:

Providing biostatistical leadership in cross-functional teams
Providingstatisticalinputon clinicaltrialdesignswriting ofprotocol analysis drivinginnovation by implementing relevant designs in the support of program strategy.
Contributingtonon-routine projects as applicable in support of drug development activitiesfor instanceinternal and external scientific reports presentations and publications
Providingstatistical input for regulatory submissions including response to questions from regulatory agencies and institutional review boards

Youwill be joining theBiostatisticsteamin Hellerupconsisting of4colleagues andreport directly toHelle HartvigDirectorBiostatisticswho is based will bebasedinHellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Servingasleadtrialbiostatistician and performingcalculation of sample sizes authoringstatistical analysisplansand performingexploratory analysis.
Collaboratingwith cross functions including statistical programmers biostatisticians clinical development medical writingand regulatoryto ensuredeliverables and timelines for statistical data analysis and reportingare met

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree - preferably aMastersor PhDin statistics mathematics orrelated field- along with at least7years of experience in the pharmaceutical biotechnology or medical device industry.

Furthermoreit is also an advantage tohave:

Submission experience (NDA BLA and/or MAA)
Good ability to translate clinicaltrialdesigns into statistical practice and communicate the use of statistics to non-statisticians.

Youpossessan entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal open environment where innovation and change are key.

Furthermore the position requires flexibility and the ability to work some overlapping hours with colleaguesbasedthe US.
