Summary:
Westminster City Council is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Engagement Officer to join the Customer Engagement Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring residents service users and partners receive accurate guidance timely responses and high-quality support when raising complaints enquiries or requests for information.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for individuals seeking guidance on how to make a complaint
- Provide clear sensitive and professional advice regarding the Councils complaints procedures
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with data protection requirements
- Accurately log allocate and monitor all incoming correspondence to the appropriate operational team
- Process and track Member Enquiries for RBKC and Westminster City Council ensuring responses are delivered within the required five-day timeframe
- Maintain and update the Freedom of Information (FOI) log for the Adult Social Care Department
Essentials:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook Teams)
- Proven ability to maintain accurate information systems and records
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
