Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminster to assist with the appointment of a Customer Engagement Officer on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 21.86 - 28.84 per hour

Summary:

Westminster City Council is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Engagement Officer to join the Customer Engagement Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring residents service users and partners receive accurate guidance timely responses and high-quality support when raising complaints enquiries or requests for information.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for individuals seeking guidance on how to make a complaint
  • Provide clear sensitive and professional advice regarding the Councils complaints procedures
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with data protection requirements
  • Accurately log allocate and monitor all incoming correspondence to the appropriate operational team
  • Process and track Member Enquiries for RBKC and Westminster City Council ensuring responses are delivered within the required five-day timeframe
  • Maintain and update the Freedom of Information (FOI) log for the Adult Social Care Department

Essentials:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook Teams)
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate information systems and records
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
