Role based in Budapest Hungary





We are looking for a proactive and businessminded Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Vertis and play a key role in attracting exceptional talent across Europe.

This role is primarily focused on endtoend recruitment in a highly specialised and competitive market with additional exposure to Learning & Development and broader HR initiatives. You will work closely with hiring managers across multiple countries and functions helping shape Vertis growth by bringing in the right people at the right time.

The role is based in Budapest with a European hiring scope.

About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will own and drive recruitment for a diverse range of roles across the organisation from frontoffice environmental commodity sales traders to IT and backoffice / support functions.

You will operate as a true partner to the business: proactive commercially aware and comfortable advising stakeholders across different countries and cultures. Beyond recruitment around 20% of the role will involve contributing to Learning & Development and selected HR projects giving you the opportunity to broaden your impact within the People function.

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role intake and sourcing through interviews offer and onboarding
  • Recruit across a broad range of role types including:
    • Carbon market sales traders
    • IT and technology roles
    • Backoffice and operational support functions
  • Partner closely with hiring managers across Europe to understand business needs align on profiles and define effective hiring strategies
  • Proactively source and engage candidates across multiple European markets building strong and sustainable talent pipelines
  • Confidently screen interview and assess candidates ensuring both technical fit and cultural alignment
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders presenting shortlists sharing market insights and constructively challenging when needed
  • Ensure a highquality professional and human candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Track and analyse recruitment activity and key metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and transparency
  • Stay close to market trends competitor activity and emerging talent pools within environmental commodities energy finance and technology
  • Represent Vertis externally and contribute to employer branding through networking events conferences and online platforms

Learning & Development / HR Contributions (partial focus)

  • Support the coordination and delivery of Learning & Development initiatives
  • Contribute to onboarding training programs and internal capabilitybuilding projects
  • Participate in selected HR projects and people initiatives aligned with business priorities

What Were Looking For

  • 4 years of solid experience in Talent Acquisition either inhouse or agency ideally in an international or specialised environment
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken); additional European languages are a strong advantage
  • A proactive selfstarting mindset with the confidence to drive searches independently and engage passive candidates
  • Strong stakeholder management and alignment skills with the ability to build trust and operate in an advisory capacity
  • Experience recruiting across different role types and functions ideally including commercial technical or operational profiles
  • Comfortable hiring across borders and navigating different European labour markets
  • Structured detailoriented and commercially aware with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
