About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivatedBusiness Development Managerto join our Residential Construction Sales Team in Victoria. Reporting to the National Residential Construction Sales Manager this role is all about driving growth building relationships and developing new trade business in both the residential and commercial segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on achieving sales targets growing accounts and presenting practical solutions to builders across both digital and mechanical products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new trade business opportunities across the residential and commercial segments.
Build strong relationships with builders trade partners and key accounts.
Manage allocated accounts including pricing discounts promotions and cooperative advertising.
Present tailored product solutions to builders and customers.
Use researched data and building project information to qualify and generate new sales leads.
Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
Represent ASSA ABLOY at trade shows product launches exhibitions and industry functions.
Provide accurate forecasting and activity reports to sales management.
About You
We are seeking a results-driven sales professional who:
Has proven success in business development sales or account management.
Thrives on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Brings commercial acumen with the ability to identify and qualify new opportunities.
Is confident presenting solutions and negotiating outcomes.
Is self-motivated resilient and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Has excellent communication skills and a proactive hands-on approach.
