Job Summary
Overview
Adjunct is responsible for instruction course preparation developing instructional materials grading and assessment and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
- Develops schemes of work lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Qualifications
- Masters degree required Ph.D. preferred in History
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills Touro College emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Power Point Outlook
