Job Summary

Overview

Adjunct is responsible for instruction course preparation developing instructional materials grading and assessment and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.

Responsibilities

Plan prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
Develops schemes of work lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

Qualifications

Masters degree required Ph.D. preferred in History
Strong inter-personal and communication skills Touro College emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Power Point Outlook
