About the team
The development of modern Naval/Radar systems requires a multi-disciplinary approach in which the functional concept the mechanical the electronics the electrical and cooling infrastructure are addressed this multi-disciplinary team the working area consists of the development of new hardware concepts for Naval Radar and Combat systems but also the maintenance of the existing products and their Technical Product Documentation.

About the job
Your work will cover a broad spectrum of activities within the engineering department. The main area of focus will be in the mechanical thermal (and flow) analyses of the hardware of the so-called standard products plus building blocks. You will act in close cooperation with other disciplines (i.e. system engineers mechanical and electrical engineers EMC engineers and work package managers) often in an international environment. Several tasks can be distinguished in this process including analysis of the problem alignment with stakeholders preparing and executing analyses of the solution and making plus updating analysis reports (eg Engineering Analysis Report).
About you
You have a Bachelor in Mechanical / Aerospace / Physics Engineering (HBO or WO)
You have experience with FEM tools (preferable ANSYS) and PDM/PLM tools (preferable Windchill)
You are open minded creative and able to think across boundaries;
You are enthusiastic persistent and flexible;
You have good communication skills;
You are fluent in English both verbal and written;
You are proactive and dont mind approaching colleagues to get issues solved.
