Requisition Summary

The Materials Intern will help to identify analyze suggest review and document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle. The Materials Intern will support on-time completion of the project by working with the project team to keep the project within its planned scope schedule and budget while serving as a liaison for the projects technical functional and non-functional teams.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

The intern projects will include work with Engine Demand Planning Production Scheduling Shipping/Customer Service Material Procurement Change Management Inventory Control Warehouse Management Material Delivery and Logistics and/or Transportation. Daily responsibilities may also include additional tasks/responsibilities to meet production and/or project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Create manage and disburse reports related to the project.

Maintain project assets communications and related data.

Evaluate update and monitor the overall project.

Routinely perform analysis of the project to remain within scope.

Notify the team and stakeholders of project status and any deviations in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Skills

Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or MS program with a Business / Supply Chain Management / Data Science/Analytics / Industrial Engineering degree focus. Minimum qualifications include completion of sophomore year leading to a Bachelors degree.

Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills (Outlook Word and Excel PowerPoint ect.)

Demonstrated problem-solving/critical thinking skills.

Demonstrated organizational/communication skills.

Experience working on projects or in a team environment.

Data mining/cleaning/management/manipulation/visualization a plus.

Supply Chain knowledge/experience a plus.

Logistics Knowledge/experience a plus.

Experience with SAP/MRP Excel VBA MS SQL Tableau a plus
