Job Responsibilities: - Prepare purchase requisitions track inventories and handle inquiries related to orders including pulp chemicals and operational supplies.
- Oversee receiving issuing and consumption tracking for pulp broke and chemical inventories to ensure accurate usage availability and reconciliation.
- Guarantee efficient development and execution of administrative processes related to purchasing procurement inventory control and material flow for operations.
- Assist in managing and maintaining planned stock levels including pulp broke and chemicals to support production continuity and cost control.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular reviews cycle counts and coordination with operations to address discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with Group guidelines procedures and safety standards related to purchasing inventory management and material handling.
- Provide support to the Purchase Department in managing supplier relationships including coordination on delivery schedules quality issues and inventory needs.
- Ensure accurate lead times and alignment with purchaser specifications for materials and chemicals used in operations.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Office to resolve purchasing and invoicing issues including discrepancies related to received and consumed materials.
- Promote a corporate culture based on safety particularly in the handling storage and use of pulp broke and chemicals.
- Communicate issues obtain approvals resolve problems and maintain working knowledge of new developments requirements policies and regulatory guidelines impacting purchasing and inventory management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or six (6) to twelve (12) months experience manufacturing inventory and purchasing and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work in a cross functionally across departments and in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed with strong time-management skills.
