Business Development Representative (BDR)
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting qualifying leads and booking meetings for the sales team.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated comfortable with outreach and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation
Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls email LinkedIn and other channels
Identify and engage decision-makers at target accounts
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria
Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives
Market Research & Targeting
Research target accounts and industry segments
Build and maintain prospect lists
Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM
Track KPIs including calls emails meetings booked and conversion rates
Provide feedback to marketing and leadership on messaging and positioning
Sales Collaboration
Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities
Refine outreach strategies based on campaign performance
Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes
Required Qualifications
15 years of experience in sales business development or lead generation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot or similar)
Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls
Strong organizational and time management skills
