JOB TITLE: L8 Compliance Manager

Legionella Responsible Person (L8 Compliance)

LOCATION: London

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 40 HOURS PER WEEK

SALARY: 57 000 - 62000 per year

Key Objectives:

Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance related to Legionella control including:
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- COSHH Regulations 2002
- HSE ACOP L8
- HSG274 Parts 13

Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee the management and control of Legionella risks across all water systems.
- Implement andmaintainwritten schemes of control and ensure they are followed.
- Monitor water temperatures conduct sampling flushing and inspections.
-Maintainaccurateand auditable records of all compliance activities.
- Ensuretimelycompletion of remedial actions and escalate any non-compliance.
- Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure service delivery.
-Delivery of small water projects up to a value of 8k.

Performance & KPI Responsibilities:

- Ensure all compliance tasks are completed within agreedtimeframes.
- Achieve andmaintain98% completion of scheduled monitoring and inspection tasks.
-Maintainzero overdue actions on Legionella-related remedials.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits.
- Support the team in achieving departmental KPIs related to water safety and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and performance reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

-Legionella Responsible Person (HXT-WO2) or equivalent
-Mechanical or electrical qualifications at NVQ / C&D level
-Strong understanding of technical compliance
-Goodknowledge of Excel and IT programs.
-Proven successful working relationships with high end service providers
-Strong communicator
