Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Salary: Up to 28300 depending on experience and qualifications

As a Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in providing high-quality care planning and implementing engaging activities to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for the children in our care. The is part of an award winning nursery group it boasts a spacious interior and a large outdoor play area; It is conveniently located with good transport routes providing easy access.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years or above demonstrating a strong theoretical and practical understanding of early childhood development and EYFS.
• Previous experience working as a nursery practitioner.
• Up-to-date knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices in early childhood education with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with children parents and colleagues and build effective partnerships with families and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment for children by providing guidance support and professional development opportunities.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences to support the physical cognitive social and emotional development of each child adhering to the early years curriculum and best practices.
• Build positive relationships with children parents and external agencies and professionals to support the well-being and holistic development of each child.
• Observe and assess childrens progress maintaining accurate records and report to senior staff and parents when necessary to ensure effective communication and support for each childs development.
• Contribute to the overall operation of the nursery including adherence to health and safety regulations administrative duties and collaboration with the management team to support the continuous improvement of the nursery.
