Location: Lightwater Surrey
Salary: 45000 to 50000 per annum
Type: Full time

We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager to lead a well-regarded early years setting in Lightwater.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery leader to take charge of a beautiful setting that combines a warm home-from-home environment with a strong focus on quality childcare play-based learning and child development. The nursery publicly presents itself as a place where children are supported to play learn and grow in a positive and stimulating environment with an expert team and a strong focus on wellbeing safety and early years excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery support and develop the staff team maintain high standards of care and education and build strong relationships with families. This role would suit an existing Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a broader leadership position.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the overall day-to-day operation of the nursery
• Maintain high standards of care and education in line with the EYFS
• Support manage and develop the staff team
• Oversee safeguarding compliance health and safety and operational standards
• Build strong parent partnerships and maintain clear communication
• Monitor quality across rooms and support continuous improvement
• Ensure the nursery environment remains safe engaging and well organised
• Promote a positive team culture and strong learning environment

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification
• Previous leadership experience within a nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding and nursery compliance
• Confident people management and team development skills
• Good organisational and communication ability
• Passion for delivering high-quality early years care and education
