Job Summary

Main Responsibilities:
Manage and support global trademark prosecutionactivitiesincluding trademark clearance filings prosecutionand maintenance.
CommunicateandcoordinatewithUS and foreign trademark counsel regarding trademark registration maintenanceand enforcement.
Monitorupcomingdeadlinesand supervisionofdocketing activities.
Assisttrademark attorneyswithtrademarkmonitoringenforcement and dispute matterssuch as: reviewing trademark watch reports;gathering informationand evidencefrom business teamsto support enforcement actions;reviewing and assisting with attorney execution of filings; and docketing deadlines.
Reviewing new brand requests received from business teams to confirm alignment with currentbrandguidelinesand policies.
Coordinating post-registration filings and renewals worldwide including maintenance instructions auditing files communicating with business teams to confirm use and obtain documentation as needed.
Review propertrademark usage by business teams andassistwith trainingpresentationsregardingtrademarkuseand processes.
Key Qualifications:
Minimumoffiveyearsof trademarkexperiencein a law firmor in-house corporate settingas a trademark attorneyor paralegal and preferably at a largelaw firm serving U.S.-based or international clients.
Substantial experience with trademark portfolio management clearance applications maintenance renewals and enforcement.
Substantial experience managing trademark portfolios forglobal brands with large internationaltrademark portfolios.
Substantial experience with theMadridinternational trademark filing system.
Experience with leading teams of trademark attorneys or paralegals.
University diploma and certification as an attorney or paralegal.
English Fluencyand experience working in English-speaking roles.
Experience withIPdocketing systems such asWebTMSandFoundationIP.
Proficient knowledge ofMicrosoft Office suite of products.
Familiaritywith USPTO and foreigntrademarkdatabases.
Exemplaryorganizational skillsandimpeccableattention to detail.
Ability toproactivelymanageahigh volume oftasks with competing deadlinesthrough time management andestablishingpriorities.
Ability tomaintain a strict level ofconfidentiality and effectively manage sensitive information with professionalism and speed.
Ability to quicklybecome knowledgeable in anew environment includingknowledge of organizational operations procedures and staff.
Resourcefulness sound judgment and tact to appropriately handle requests from all levels including senior management.
