Job Summary
The Role
- Full Time Fixed Term for up to 12 months
- Senior Manager Level 3
- Demonstrated leadership capability and readiness to provide strategic oversight of safety security and wellbeing in a complex environment is essential.
- Appointment to be made to current campus location
The Executive Director Safety Security and Wellbeing reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is accountable for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the provision of safety security and wellbeing services across all University locations and for online students.
The role provides University-wide leadership to ensure a safe secure and healthy environment for staff students and visitors. This includes responsibility for legislative compliance emergency management and business continuity security operations health and safety systems staff wellbeing initiatives and the development of environmental strategies and management systems to achieve sector-leading outcomes.
The Executive Director leads a significant and diverse portfolio including student and staff safety and wellbeing and security. As a member of the Chief Operating Officer Portfolio Leadership Team the role contributes to major decision-making processes corporate planning and the delivery of the University Strategy embedding a culture of excellence continuous improvement and proactive risk management across the institution.
