Position Summary
The Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts and coordinating onboarding activities for our manufacturing operations in Gunnison Utah. This role plays a key part in attracting hiring and successfully integrating high-quality talent into the organization.
The ideal candidate will have 13 years of recruiting experience demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and be a proactive self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Partner with the HR Manager and hiring managers to understand workforce needs.
Post job openings on appropriate platforms and manage applicant tracking systems.
Source candidates through job boards social media referrals and community outreach.
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Assist in extending job offers and preparing offer letters.
Track recruitment metrics and maintain organized candidate records.
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks and new hire paperwork.
Prepare onboarding materials and ensure a smooth first-day experience.
Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure completion of required documentation.
Partner with department managers to ensure proper training plans are in place.
Maintain accurate employee records and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
13 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the company positively to candidates.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
