About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker with hands-on experience in trade show exhibit construction and installation. This role combines craftsmanship with creativity requiring precision woodworking skills and the ability to build custom pieces for high-impact trade show displays.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and assemble custom cabinets furniture and display units for trade shows and events.
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and design specifications.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Assist with on-site installation and dismantling of trade show booths and exhibits.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with trade show exhibit construction and installation.
- Ability to work with various materials (wood laminates hardware etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CNC machinery and advanced woodworking techniques.
- Experience with finishing painting and laminating.
- Understanding of trade show logistics and booth assembly.
