Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Delivery Process & Automation Lead who combines strong product management capabilities with deep expertise in delivery governance process excellence and automation.
This role will own the end-to-end product pipeline management across Product Tech QA and Program teamsensuring structured execution sprint discipline process compliance and optimal utilization of development bandwidth.
In addition to driving high-impact education products (for students teachers and administrators in government systems) this role will institutionalize delivery rigor build automation-first processes and improve cross-functional collaboration at scale.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
Contribute to product vision and roadmap for solutions aimed at:
Improving student learning outcomes in government schools.
Enabling teacher classroom effectiveness and capacity development.
Strengthening administrative monitoring and system-level reforms.
Work closely with Product Managers to ensure problem discovery field research and solution design are thorough and structured.
Ensure product requirements are clearly articulated and execution-ready before entering development cycles.
2. Product Delivery & Sprint Governance
Drive structured sprint planning and execution across Product Engineering and QA teams.
Ensure:
Tickets are created on time and with complete documentation.
Acceptance criteria are well-defined.
Backlogs are groomed regularly.
Dependencies are proactively identified and managed.
Monitor sprint health metrics (velocity spillovers blockers QA turnaround time).
Ensure sprint retrospectives are actionable and lead to measurable improvements.
Hold Product Managers accountable for sprint readiness (solutioning documentation ticket creation).
3. Process Design & Cross-Functional Alignment
Institutionalize robust processes between Product Tech QA and Program Management teams.
Define and enforce standardized workflows for:
Feature intake
Solution validation
Development handoffs
QA cycles
Release management
Drive clear RACI definitions and accountability structures.
Ensure structured communication loops between field/program teams and product teams.
4. Automation & Operational Efficiency
Identify and implement automation opportunities across:
Product workflows
Reporting systems
QA validation processes
Data syncing and monitoring systems
Improve JIRA workflows dashboards and tracking mechanisms for transparency and accountability.
Drive templatization across PRDs user stories test cases and release documentation.
Build systems that reduce manual overhead and optimize developer bandwidth.
Create automated governance dashboards for tracking delivery health.
5. Governance Compliance & Financial Discipline
Ensure structured tagging and governance compliance within JIRA and internal systems.
Oversee CAPEX and OPEX categorization related to product development efforts.
Track and monitor development bandwidth allocation across initiatives.
Ensure disciplined documentation and audit-readiness of product development processes.
Drive prioritization frameworks that balance impact with resource optimization.
6. Data & Impact Orientation
Define delivery KPIs and track performance against sprint and release goals.
Use data-driven insights to optimize throughput quality and predictability.
Ensure product decisions are backed by user research field insights and performance data.
Support impact measurement linked to learning outcomes teacher effectiveness and system efficiency.
Key Qualifications & Skills Required
Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree required; MBA / Public Policy / Education / Technology Management preferred.
Experience
58 years of experience in Product Management or Product Delivery roles.
Experience working in EdTech GovTech or development sector preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional delivery pipelines.
Core Product & Delivery Skills
Strong product discovery and solutioning capabilities.
Experience managing Agile/Scrum processes at scale.
Deep familiarity with JIRA (workflows dashboards reporting automation rules).
Strong backlog management and sprint governance experience.
Ability to enforce process discipline without slowing innovation.
Process & Automation Orientation
Experience building scalable product processes and governance frameworks.
Strong focus on automation-first thinking.
Experience optimizing development bandwidth and reducing operational inefficiencies.
Ability to design templates SOPs and standardized workflows.
Financial & Governance Understanding
Basic understanding of CAPEX/OPEX tagging in product development contexts.
Experience with compliance tracking audit processes and structured reporting.
Strong documentation discipline.
