PositionOverview
Reporting tothe Manager Marketing Communications & Media the Specialist Social Media plays a key role in shapingand delivering Sparks content across platforms channels and role supports the development and execution of Sparks annual marketingplan through compelling storytelling content creation community engagementand social-first thinking.
Thisposition is rooted in content across platforms from social media and video towritten brand communications community storytelling and influencer successful candidate is both strategic and hands-on: someone who lovescreating experimenting tracking performance and responding in real time tocultural moments and audience behaviour.
Yourecomfortable behind and in front of the camera can turn ideas into engagingReels Shorts posts and captions and understand how content supports brandevents ticketing memberships and visitation. Youre also a strong writer whocan support on-brand communications across channels and collaborate closelywith internal teams and external partners.

PleaseNote:
Thisposition is onsite only at Spark with some offsite work for outreach eventsand community activations.
Theschedule for this role is Tuesday to Saturday. Some evenings and weekends arerequired.
KeyResponsibilities
Plancreate and execute engaging on-brand content across platforms includingInstagram TikTok Facebook YouTube LinkedIn Threads X (Twitter) andemerging channels
Createand edit written photo and video content including Reels Shorts Storiesand live content
Maintaina unified brand voice and visual identity across all content and platforms
Collaboratewith the marketing team to build and manage content social media and eventscalendars
Monitortrends cultural moments and platform updates to inform content ideas andstrategy
Engagewith audiences by responding to comments messages and inquiries in a timelybrand-appropriate way
Supportcommunity engagement initiatives through content storytelling and on-siteparticipation and monitoring all channels to respond to comments and concerns
Attendevents activations and programs to capture and produce real-time andpost-event content
Buildrelationships internally and externally to surface stories that reflect Sparksmission and impact
Assistwith influencer scoping outreach and content coordination
Supportinfluencer nights media events and creator experiences as needed
Trackinfluencer content performance and ensure alignment with Sparks brand andgoals
Reviewanalytics track performance and report on key content social influencerand media metrics
Useinsights to refine content approaches and improve engagement and reach
Supportsocial media influencer and broader content strategies in alignment withbusiness objectives
Supportplanning coordination and execution of marketing media VIP and outreachevents
Assistwith media coordination content capture tracking and reporting
Ensureall activities align with Sparks strategic goals and values
Modelhigh performance flexibility collaboration and kindness in a fast-pacedenvironment

Qualifications& Knowledge
Minimum3 years of experience in a content social media or digital marketing role
Provenexperience creating and managing content across multiple platforms
Strongwriting skills with the ability to support on-brand communications andstorytelling
Proficiencywith video and photo editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
Experienceusing social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Sprout native platformtools)
Strongunderstanding of engagement audience growth events ticketing and brandstorytelling
Excellentsocial listening skills and awareness of digital and cultural trends
Analyticalmindset with the ability to interpret metrics and adapt content accordingly
Strongcommunication planning and copy-editing skills
Highlyorganized with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiplepriorities
Detail-orientedadaptable and enthusiastic about learning and growth
