The County of Elgin is looking for students who are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary Food or Nutrition program to work as a Student Dietary Aide over the summer!Elgin Manor is a 90-bed long-term care facility situated in the Township of Southwold just a few minutes outside of St. Thomas Ontario. Each home area is equipped with recreation rooms sitting areas and television lounges to enhance programming socialization and visits from family and friends. Elgin Manor also features multiple outdoor garden patio areas and walkways in a tranquil rural setting right in the heart of beautiful Elgin Title:Dietary Aide StudentType:Temporary Part-timeCompensation: $27.11/hour as per collective agreement# of Vacancies: 2 new vacanciesAbout the Role:As a Dietary Aide you will be responsible for basic food preparation assisting the Cook where needed and handling food in accordance with safety and sanitary regulations. You will also be responsible for service of food setting and clearing tables and receiving goods delivered to the dietary department.
