Job Summary
Setting: General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified not Chest Pain Center accredited not a Trauma Level designationDuties: Hospital Coverage we have a need for a Radiologist to cover the Hospital which involves the IR needs along with Stroke CTs and other procedures/availability. There is also the potential for a Radiologist to cover our Building 4 which is an outpatient building where a Radiologist has to be present for contrasted CTs and MRIs along with Breast biopsies. Required Procedures: lumbar punctures barium studies various centesis exams with drains and CT/US biopsies preferredIR Procedures (Thoracentesis Paracentesis Nephrostomy Tubes Intra-abdominal abscess drainage Chest Tubes Suprapubic Catheters); Biopsies (Thyroid Lung Other)EMR: CernerSupport Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses and Techs; We do have a large Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and after-hours readsReason for Coverage: Resignation of RadiologistDealbreakers: Procedural Skills Acute Care Imaging capability (Stroke CTs ED and ICU imaging studies)Travel Preferences:Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotelsAir Travel: Local no flightsPlease detail any anticipated travel exceptions for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider Information:Timeframe:Requirements:Credentialing with other facilitiesBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or lessAdditional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Admissions per day: 12-15Patients/day: ED Daily Volume is 85-90 patients/day Average Daily Inpatient/Obs Census is 50 patients (includes ICU and OB). Types of cases: Surgical Medical ICU and OBBased on review of the last several months of volume we would expect the following studies interpreted per day and procedures performed per day:
