Overview
The Project Manager III leads large-scale cross-functional IT and business initiatives with high complexity and visibility. This role requires deep project managementexpertise strong leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders across the enterprise. PM III professionals are expected to drive strategic outcomes manage risk proactively and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of complex projects or programs across multiple departments.
- Manage project scope schedule budget and quality ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate executive-level meetings steering committees and stakeholder reviews.
- Own RAID (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) management across programs.
- Drive change management strategies and ensure organizational readiness.
- Collaborate with business IT security and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights using dashboards and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governancemethodology and documentation standards.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers and project coordinators.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in information technology Business Engineering or related field (required).
- PMP or equivalent certification (required).
- Masters degree or advanced training in leadership or technical domains (preferred).
- 7 years of IT project management experiencedemonstratingproficiencyin bridging business and technical teams.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required:
- Expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word SharePoint Teams)
- Expert skills with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Azure DevOps).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage enterprise-level initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Strategic thinking risk management and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex environments.
