On behalf of Rohde Nielsen MARPRO Group is looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their team at the office in Copenhagen. Reporting directly to the Technical Director.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and expanding Rohde Nielsens growing fleet of specialized vessels.
The job
As Technical Superintendent you will manage a pool of vessels in close cooperation with the rest of the technical team as the key duty is to assisting and supporting the vessels and to ensure continuous development and maintenance.
You will be handling all technical aspects such as technical problem solving planning of dockings service repairs and inspections.
This exciting position calls for a person with a great overview and excellent collaborative skills who can work fast and focus on solutions. We expect you to have a dynamic mindset think innovation and have a fighting spirit.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support to vessels solving operational challenges efficiently.
Supervise both minor and major repairs as well as routine and special inspections.
Plan execute and follow up on dockings ensuring all work meets high standards.
Assist with the implementation of project-related technical solutions.
Professional qualifications
You are educated Marine Engineer or Dual Officer.
Proven sailing experience.
Hands-on experience with repairs inspections and dockings.
Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
Personal characteristics
Independent and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Quick learner with a dynamic and innovative mindset.
IT-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools.
Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Grenaa.
Travel to vessels and shipyards as required.
