Youll help shape support and continually improve the engineering tooling used across Solution Engineering making sure it aligns with business goals regulatory needs and our technology this hybrid role youll blend software engineering automation DevOps and workflow optimisation to help our teams deliver secure efficient and scalable solutions. Youll play a key part in improving how we build deliver and support our a Tooling Specialist you will:Act as the subject matter expert for a wide range of engineering tools used to deliver software support and optimise development and delivery tooling including source control CI/CD wikis and collaboration continuous improvement by promoting automation and adopting new tooling and practices that support our technology with engineering teams to maximise the value and effectiveness of delivery platform performance troubleshoot issues and manage risks related to closely with business teams and vendors to ensure tooling is wellmaintained understood and effectively Were Looking ForStrong handson experience with development tooling integration and developer skills with Bash PowerShell and JavaScript/ working with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions CircleCI or Azure understanding of software engineering fundamentals including version control testing and build to translate stakeholder needs into effective tooling solutions and collaborate with thirdparty : knowledge of Salesforce development tooling (XML metadata Scratch org automation Salesforce CLI sandbox management).Offers are subject to standard background checks (credit fraud and employment references).Who we areAt Vanquis our purpose is simple: to deliver caring banking that helps people make the most of lifes opportunities.
