About the Role

The Caretaker will support the day-to-day running of the school site ensuring that buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the Site Manager you will play a key role in safeguarding the premises and supporting operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:
Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Setting up rooms for lessons exams and events
Monitoring site security and responding to alarms
Assisting with contractor supervision and deliveries

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in caretaking maintenance or facilities
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable punctual and proactive
Commitment to safeguarding and site security
