Job Summary
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Woodsville NH 03785
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 4x10-Hour Shifts
Compensation:
Up to $2100 Gross Weekly (Local Candidates)
Up to $2500 Gross Weekly (Travelers)
Position Overview:
A community-based healthcare facility in New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and perform a wide range of laboratory procedures while ensuring accuracy efficiency and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory testing procedures in accordance with established protocols
Ensure patient safety and minimize medical/healthcare errors
Verify questionable results or samples and repeat procedures as necessary
Function in all areas of the clinical laboratory including:
Blood Bank
Chemistry
Hematology
Microbiology
Serology/Immunology
Urinalysis
Phlebotomy
Perform routine phlebotomy services as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality control standards
Required Skills & Experience:
12 Years of Laboratory Experience Preferred (Ability to Function Independently Required)
Phlebotomy Course Completion or Relevant Phlebotomy Experience
Education & Licensure:
MLT Certification Required
BLS (American Heart Association) Preferred
