We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Trust Advisory Manager.
In this role you will:
- Manage and monitor fiduciary risks regulatory and tax compliance and implement appropriate controls for TFS-managed structures
- Track and assess legal regulatory and tax changes impacting TFS business in relevant jurisdictions escalating risks as necessary
- Collaborate with stakeholders (including IT transformation and risk stewards) to design and implement solutions for regulatory fiduciary and tax obligations
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for trust technical and tax matters reviewing onboarding and restructuring cases and ensuring policy compliance
- Review and sign off on external legal regulatory or tax advice and support responses to regulatory or industry consultations
- Develop relationships with regulators tax offices and external advisors; deliver technical training and updates to front office teams; draft client communications and governance papers
To be successful you will need:
- Proven experience advising on or administering trusts with knowledge of private client tax issues
- Strong stakeholder management communication and project management skills
- Ability to interpret new legislation and assess business impact; attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience in governance and risk management preferred; professional qualification in trusts law tax or accounting desirable
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver technical training
