Overview
The Insurance Processor I is well versed in property & casualty insurance and often serves as the liaison between vendors and their insurance agents. They process insurance documentation along with other client specific document requests. They assist with inbound and outbound phone and email inquiries that ultimately drive vendor approval metrics.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities: (Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following)
- Provide insurance corporate and license document review indexing and processing.
- Vendor and insurance agent outreach via phone and/or email.
- Maintain SLA for assigned Salesforce tickets regarding internal/external customer inquiries.
- Participate in product testing related to system enhancements to ensure integrity of the processing application is not impacted. Report issues to the quality control team and leadership.
- Participate in campaigns that improve vendor approval metrics including prospecting for Credential Key Program participants.
- Must meet KPI metrics regarding quality and jobs per hour.
- Document vendor account records by providing clear and concise updates regarding transactions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent language and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of property & casualty insurance
- Credential Key Program experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational ability; must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word Excel Outlook required
- Able to learn new processes and tools in a fast-paced environment
