As a Security Officer - Day Shift Patrol Driver in Santa Clara CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post so you will also complete vehicle patrols and detailed reports while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter routes with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and key areas for unusual activity help to deter unauthorized entry and report concerns according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with onsite contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete thorough reports and logs for patrol activity incidents and shift events and communicate updates to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
