Location: Eindhoven Netherlands

Type: 1 yr contract

Mode: Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite)

Role Description

The VMware/Azure Local Solution Architect is responsible for designing implementing and guiding the migration of onpremises VMware virtualization solutions. This role ensures that VMware platforms are architected and delivered in alignment with enterprise architecture standards security policies compliance requirements and overall business objectives.

The primary focus of this position is to support and advise on the migration from VMware to Azure Local including the assessment of existing environments modernization of workloads and execution of transition activities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and document endtoend solutions leveraging VMware virtualization technologies and Microsoft Azure Local services.
With the support of the Enterpriser Architect align technical assessments baselining activities and readiness analyses to support infrastructure decisionmaking.
Provide expert guidance on workload migration with specific emphasis on transitioning VMware workloads to Azure Local.
Collaborate closely with infrastructure security storage networking and application teams to ensure cohesive architectural outcomes.
Apply and promote established best practices governance frameworks and architectural patterns with support of the Enterprise Architect.
Serve as a technical escalation point throughout design deployment and operational phases.

Requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

8-10 year of expertise as Solution Architect.
Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies.
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Azure Local services and capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in workload migration from VMware to Azure Local.
Strong understanding of (hybrid) networking (CISCO ACI) identity and access management and security models.
Ability to produce highquality architectural documentation including HighLevel Designs (HLD) and LowLevel Designs (LLD) in English.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and nontechnical domains.
Fluent in English and Dutch both spoken and written.
Teamoriented mindset goaldriven and proactive in driving architectural outcomes.
