DescriptionSolution Architect Data Management
As aSolution Architect you will work in the Corporate Solution Data Management team with a strong focus on the Enterprise Data Management solutions and are responsible for the architecture of the solutions in the domain.
The Enterprise Data Management solutions are aiming at implementing solutions to host the DLL Data Catalog visualize the data lineage based on a Central Meta Data Store (CMDS)and a Central Data Quality Management and Reporting (CDQMR) solution.
You will have a stake in all data management solutions across DLL to meet the regulatory requirements around data management and in support of making DLL a data driven company..

Day to day:
- Alignment with business stakeholders to understand requirements design business processes and translate these to IT solutions covering application - information - and infrastructure architecture.
- Organize solution Design activities and involve the right stakeholders.
- Design solutions based on the business requirements and ensure these are within architectural guardrails.
- Capture the solution direction in the Solution Vision
- Arrange approval for architecture artifacts with business stakeholders lead architect architects of other domains and delivery teams
- Participate in the solution design authority to ensure that the Data Management solutions stay relevant.
- Provide support give overview and guidance in the specific business domain regarding preconditions for successful adoption of changes / new technology by coaching and supporting business and IT to deploy solutions.
- Work closely with the Lead architect and co-create architecture roadmaps and an architecture plan in line with the business strategy.
- Monitor the execution of the architecture roadmaps by maintaining and coordinating the architecture backlog of the global solution.
- Ensure the architecture repository for the global solution is always up to date.
- Provide architectural guidance to Agile Engineers.
- Monitor implementation of solutions to ensure they are according to Solution Visions
- Proactively come up with ideas to improve the IT landscape within the global solution.
- Keep abreast with new or changing insights architecture practices technology and the relevant developments in the IT and financial services markets.

Essentials:
- Experience with Informatica and/or other data management tools in support of Data Governance
- Experience with the implementation of these tools in support of Data Quality Data Catalog and Lineage visualization.
- 5 years of experience architecting IT solutions preferably in Data Management.
- Experience in working in Agile/scrum environments in the IT sector and financial services.
- Bachelor Level Education.
- Practical experience with architecture frameworks.
- Excellent communicator in speech and writing.
- Customer Oriented.
- Leadership skills.
- Stakeholder Management Skills (networker).
- Ability to coach Agile Engineers.
- Focus on Delivery.
- Able to convey IT subjects in business terminology
- Experience with Microsoft Azure- and Databricks based solutions (i.e. medallion architecture)
Extras:
- Certified for TOGAF.
- Certified for ArchiMate (using Bizzdesign).
- Sound Technology background in a Data Management environment.
- Sound understanding of Architectural Concepts.
- Understand/knows relevant business processes related to Banking or can learn them quickly.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Experience in Software Development Methodologies
