Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Archbald PA
PAY RATE: $53.65/hour

Job Type: Contract (Up to 10 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

Modify manufacturing process procedures as required.
Review defective hardware and provide direction to restore to acceptable condition.
Support manufacturing assemblers by interpreting work instructions and assisting production efforts.
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.
Evaluate tool performance and process plans to verify efficiency.
Investigate problems and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize manufacturability.
Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve production flow reduce span time and lower hours per unit.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to start)
High School Diploma required (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
Experience with cable and harness manufacturing.
Experience with electromechanical assembly manufacturing.
Familiarity with J-STD IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards (certification not required).
Experience with Windchill PLM SAP ERP and Apriso software preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
