Job Summary
Job Title: Automation Tester/QA (Selenium Java API & CI/CD 10 years of exp)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Served as a Lead Tester responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test documentation including detailed test scenarios and test cases covering business entities/objects and their relationships.
- Developed and maintained a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to map business rules and use cases to corresponding test scenarios ensuring full coverage and validation.
- Created Functional Test Plans outlining the scope objectives approach resources and rationale (who what where how and why) for testing each business function.
- Prepared and managed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans defining clear entry and exit criteria and actively collaborating with business users in evaluating and approving specific test scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java J2EE technologies HTML CSS and JavaScript within the Eclipse IDE environment.
- Experience writing SQL queries to validate backend data processing and generating appropriate test data to support validation activities.
- Proficiency in using GitHub for version control Maven for build management and Jenkins for continuous integration with solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
- Experience testing web services within SOA environments including both functional and performance testing using tools such as JMeter SoapUI and Postman.
