Description of Work
Description of Work:The North Carolina DMV is undertaking a major system modernization initiative to transition from legacy mainframe applications to a modern scalable and efficient platform. We are seeking both an intern and a fellow to support this transformation. These roles offer unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience in large-scale government IT modernization vendor coordination data management and business process optimization.
Lead documentation and analysis of legacy workflows and data flows.
Coordinate with vendor teams to support implementation planning and integration.
Contribute to data governance strategy and business process redesign.
Develop dashboards or tools to monitor project progress and performance.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Minimum Education and Experience of Requirement:
- Bachelors degree or graduate study in: IT data analytics systems engineering or public administration from NC HBCU/MSI.
- Graduation date between 2023 - 2026
- Experience with business process analysis data governance or enterprise systems.
