Job Summary

This team is the backbone of our Global Markets business (one of the largest of its kind in the world) and combines sophisticated 24-hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets and specialises in foreign exchange credits and rates structured derivatives equities and debt equity and equity-linked capital markets.

Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post-execution. This team manages settlement activity risk and control adherence to regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 58 countries and territories.

People responsibility: N

Report to: VP MSS Market Operations - Fixed Income

To supervise day to day BAU operational process on global market products with focus on Fixed income which includes but is not limited to trade validation affirmation settlement reconciliation and regulatory reports.
To ensure all the transactions undertaken are processed properly documented accurately recorded checked and settled in accordance with local regulations and group guidelines policies and standards.
To assess impact and partner with various stakeholders for system testing and change of any process so to secure a robust operational control environment.
To assist Operations managers to build the operational procedures in line with the group standard and local regulations so to accurately reflect the Banks total exposure and settlement can be processed efficiently to a minimal risk standard.
To provide client services on any business queries relating to operation process and ensure first class service standard is extended.

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or Business
Relevant experience and responsibilities in Banking
Capability of coaching and motivation and set a good example for the working group
Superior problem solving and resolution skills
Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy
Good command of English skills and interpersonal communication skills
Strong MS PC skills
GPAD Covered

Senior Securities license
Bill license
Internal Control & Internal Audit License
