Job Details
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Strategy team by executing the build-out of a centralized HR repository. The intern will work closely with HR leaders to gather content standardize documentation and ensure materials are easily accessible well structured and up to date. The role also includes department-wide communication and training end users on how to access and use the repository. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR operations documentation management and internal communications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize the HR knowledge repository within SharePoint.
- Collect and consolidate HR documents including policies templates SOPs guides and reference materials.
- Interview HR team members to identify missing documents clarify processes and ensure accuracy.
- Categorize and tag content to improve searchability and user experience.
- Develop a navigation structure (e.g. folders site pages) for intuitive access to HR content.
- Create quick-reference guides or job aids to help HR staff use the repository.
- Validate that documents meet formatting and template requirements before uploading.
- Draft and distribute communications to HR teams regarding repository updates upcoming deadlines and expectations.
- Coordinate communication timelines and messaging with the HR Strategy team.
- Conduct basic training sessions demos or office hours to help staff navigate and use the repository.
- Assist with light data entry tracking and project management tasks as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma is required OR GED
- Enrollment in higher education (associate bachelor or master) within related field
$20.00/hr
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
