Job Summary
Minimum Qualifications
MA in Art History or an MFA with at least 2-3 years of experience organizing exhibitions including soft skills such as strong written and oral communication skills as well as relationship building with diverse collaborators; and hard skills including exhibition design layout installation budget management and marketing. Experience with fine art collection management and/or consulting is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory and/or project management experience creative problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. The Gallery Director is a visionary thinker with the ability to balance the educational needs of St. Catherine Universitys students with the gallerys local regional and national reputation for women-centered gender-inclusive exhibitions and programming that align with and express the institutions mission and values.
