About this Position

THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION

The Project Director will oversee externally funded projects managing the daily operations of the OSU UPCAST Mental Health Professional Services grant and the OSU BRIDGE Center. This role includes coordinating professional development consultation coaching and grant evaluation services. Additionally the Project Director will supervise and provide direct training to school districts on implementing evidence-based mental health practices.

Key responsibilities include supporting schools in establishing and maintaining effective Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) frameworks to address student mental health needs at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels and supervising graduate practicum students placed at school sites.

This position plays a critical role in enhancing mental health support systems in educational settings through strategic leadership and direct engagement with school personnel and graduate trainees.

Required Qualifications

  • EdS or PhD
    • Education Specialists or Doctoral degree in Education School Psychology or closely related field
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • 10 or more years of related experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students faculty and staff employed by local and state-level educational agencies.
    • Project management experience including organizing and maintaining budgets organizing and collecting program data and report writing

Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information is essential.
  • Ability to produce written materials displaying strong written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate confidentiality sensitivity and ethics in all aspects
  • Ability to work well under deadlines work independently and
  • Ability to work with diverse staff & contacts via phone email and in-person
  • Must have personal transportation and be willing to conduct work travel within the state of Oklahoma.
