We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Control Manager.

Principal responsibilities

Liaise with Businesses for ensuring their compliance with statutory group and internal requirements

Provide assistance on Risk & Control Assessments review and update

Perform data analysis for risk identification and monitoring

Handle ad hoc projects in relation to Business/ Entity risk and compliance

Collaborate with onshore manager/stakeholders to facilitate internal communication

Coordinate with Businesses in relation to regulatory or audit enquiries and to ensure proper completion of the concerned actions

Monthly performance report which contain current tasks status

Communicate with relevant stakeholder timely ensuring the effectiveness and smoothness of operations

Monitor effectiveness controls through KPI/KCI QC/QA governance etc.

Requirements

Degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications

Minimum 3 years banking experience preferably with exposure to retail banking business and knowledge of related regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

Strong attentiveness to detail compliance and control orientation

Good communication and English writing skills with sound knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint an advantage

Proficiency in both English and Chinese

Good time management and project management capabilities

Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
