Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a highly qualified Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated educator who understands both the rewards and demands of teaching at the secondary level and who possesses a strong command of mathematical content. Teachers at Bishop Dunne are responsible for designing daily lessons aligned with course goals assessing student work maintaining accurate records leading an advisory group and fulling standard administrative responsibilities including attendance gradebook management and narrative comments.

General Duties
Rooted in the mission of Catholic education to Teach as Jesus did teachers at Bishop Dunne are expected to exemplify Christs love compassion and commitment to excellence. This position reports to the Principal and carries decision-making responsibility with established school policies philosophy and curriculum.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelorsdegree in mathematicsor at least 18 graduate credits inmath from an accredited institution required; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimumof 12education creditsrequired. A valid Texas teaching certificate withappropriate mathematics endorsements and AP College Board certification are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience teaching students in grades 6-12; AP experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent active listening communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the school and community.
- Proficiency with instructional technology and related professional tools.
- Ability to pass all background checks and comply with the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
