4. Responsibility

4.1 Responsible For

  • Preparing quotations
  • Placing orders with the factory
  • Creating sales orders
  • Invoicing
  • Stock control back orders and reconciliation of stock
  • Checking instrument sets for functionality completeness and cleanliness
  • Releasing and delivering goods to customers
  • Coordinating product cleaning processes in line with work instructions
  • Checking labelling when dispatching
  • Packing loan sets according to checklists
  • Determining and reporting missing instruments
  • Relaying customer messages in line with system communication and documentation procedures
  • Checking and removing expired products
  • Booking and preparing courier orders (parcels waybills documentation)
  • Filing sales orders and GRNs daily (sending for archiving)
  • Checking drivers logs for returned PODs in conjunction with the debtors system
  • Updating checklists in consultation with the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Preparing customer orders by checklist
  • General housekeeping in the Final Goods Store
  • Receiving products into stores from the factory/imports (verifying against inspection and job cards)
  • Maintaining price files (internal hospital groups order logistics)
  • Controlling delivery books and internal order books
  • Requesting purchase orders for services
  • Dispatching products to suppliers for sterilization or outsourced work (ensuring correct documentation/photos if required)

4.2 Authority

  • Reporting customer complaints non-conformities and corrective actions
  • Reporting out-of-stock situations
  • Reporting all quality-related problems
  • Releasing products and instruments for dispatch

5. Additional / Ad Hoc Tasks

  • Perform any and all reasonable tasks assigned.

Remuneration:
