Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Mobile Architect to lead the design development and implementation of scalable and secure mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. This role is vital to enhancing our digital solutions ensuring a seamless user experience and supporting the organizations innovation objectives. The Mobile Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and align mobile initiatives with business goals ultimately contributing to the organizations success in delivering cutting-edge mobile solutions.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Swift (latest stable version) and SwiftUI (minimum 3.0)
- Kotlin (latest stable version) and Jetpack Compose
- Xcode and Android Studio development environments
- Git and version control systems (GitHub GitLab)
- CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions Firebase Fastlane
- Testing frameworks: XCTest Espresso Detox Appium
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Apple HIG Android Material Design guidelines
- Knowledge of Firebase Analytics Push Notifications and Deep Linking
- Experience with cloud services like Azure or AWS mobile services
Overall Responsibilities
The Mobile Architect will oversee the end-to-end development of mobile applications ensuring they are scalable efficient and secure. Responsibilities include creating modular architectures implementing best practices in UI/UX design optimizing app performance and ensuring compliance with security standards. The role demands strategic planning to align mobile solutions with business priorities managing app deployment pipelines and facilitating seamless updates. Success metrics include app stability performance security compliance and user satisfaction.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mobile application development and architecture.
- Proven experience in designing scalable modular and reusable mobile application architectures.
- Prior exposure to AI-powered features AR/VR or machine learning integrations is advantageous.
- Industry experience in finance healthcare or high-tech sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with alternative pathways such as extensive project-based learning or contributions to open-source mobile projects are also encouraged to apply.
Day-to-Day Activities
Participants will engage in defining technical architecture coding and code reviews and collaborating in sprint planning and daily standups. They will oversee integration with backend services optimize app performance and conduct security audits. Regular meetings with design backend and QA teams will ensure project alignment. Deliverables include functioning mobile applications automated testing scripts and deployment pipelines. The role involves decision-making authority on technical solutions and ongoing enhancement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related fields; alternative accredited experience is acceptable.
- Certifications such as Certified Mobile Application Developer (CMAD) or Xamarin/Flutter certifications are preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through industry webinars courses or workshops.
