Job Summary

Delaware Elevator of Florida is seeking skilled and experienced Elevator Service Technicians to join our team! If youre passionate about maintaining and repairing elevator systems and thrive in a dynamic environment we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician you will:

Repair and Maintain Elevator Systems: Service repair adjust and test elevators and related mechanical/electrical equipment in private and public settings.
Troubleshoot and Diagnose Issues: Pay close attention to detail detect changes in elevator performance identify causes and perform timely repairs.
Emergency and On-Call Support: Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to address after-hours emergencies entrapments or urgent repairs.
Work Independently: Meet customer needs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and fit-for-duty requirements. Apprentices will only join on-call rotations after completing required training.
Travel as Needed: Be available for occasional overnight travel based on project needs.
Lift and Move Equipment: Handle lifting requirements especially for repair teams based on project demands.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you should have:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years independent experience as an Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
Credentials: Valid elevator mechanic license or state certification with additional experience considered.
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve issues.
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical workload as verified by a fit-for-duty assessment.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
