Meet the team:

The IT Network & Systems Services Team is a global organization that supports all critical infrastructure services with a security and automation first mindset and practice. The team is involved in many projects to improve our capabilities and services offered to the entire company. We lead the way in setting the standards and best practices for running and maintaining such platforms.

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing maintaining and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies and the ability to support and enable complex projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability security and efficiency of our network to support our business operations.

Where you come in:

• Design scalable and secure enterprise network architectures (LAN WAN WLAN SDWAN Data Center).
• Evaluate new network technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Deploy configure and maintain network hardware such as routers switches firewalls wireless controllers load balancers and VPN devices.
• Manage and optimize routing protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP) and Layer 2 technologies (VLANs STP EtherChannel).
• Partner with infrastructure cloud security and application teams to support enterprise initiatives. Work with InfoSec teams to enforce network security policies and controls.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as SolarWinds PRTG Cisco Catalyst Center or equivalent to monitor network performance and proactively remediate issues.
• Participate in security incident response related to network events.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (network diagrams inventories SOPs).
• Support audit compliance and changemanagement processes.
• Engage with vendors for equipment lifecycle planning support cases and new technology evaluations.

What makes you successful:

• 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols routing switching and security technologies.
• Proficiency in network-related programming languages and scripting (e.g. Python PowerShell Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong experience in managing complete infrastructure including the following technologies:
  • Routing/Switching/Wireless (Cisco Extreme)
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto)
  • VPN (Palo Alto Cisco)
  • NAC (ForeScout)
  • Load Balancing (Citrix NetScaler)
  • SD-WAN (Palo Alto Fortinet)
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP CCIE) are highly desirable.

Experience and Education

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and a minimumof 5-8 years related experience or Masters degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.

Travel Required:

• 15-25%
