Job Description
As a Security Officer - Site Rounds in Concord NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service clear communication and timely reporting while supporting a fast-moving environment. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies security-related procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter access points noting irregular conditions and reporting them through approved channels.
- Monitor access control points such as entrances loading areas and delivery routes verifying identification and/or authorization and directing visitors and vendors according to post orders.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports including incident reports patrol logs and shift activity summaries and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
