Job Description
As a Security Officer - Alarm Panel Rover in Sunnyvale CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will support access control observe and report unusual activity and provide helpful customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors. At Allied Universal you will work with an agile reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or contractors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances parking areas and/or perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Control access by monitoring entry points verifying identification and/or authorization as required and directing visitors according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation and communicate observations and security-related concerns to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 1 Years is required.
- Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
