GeorgeE. Booth Co. Inc is a family-owned and operated industrial automation salescompany looking to hire their next full-time Panel Shop Manager.

Theideal candidate will be capable of planning directing and coordinatingoperations of the panel shop panel building process and inventory control to supportthe Service Division. To be successful in this role mechanical inclination andelectrical knowledge is a must.

Thisposition is bound primarily to the panel shop at the Indianapolis location withoccasional travel to customer locations during normal business hours. A cleandriving record is required. This role comes with a competitive compensationplan and as well as excellent benefits.

Electrical Panel Shop Manager Responsibilities:

• Planschedule or coordinate project activities and panel shop personnel to meetdeadlines.
• Conferwith supervisory personnel owners contractors or design professionals todiscuss and resolve matters such as work procedures complaints orconstruction problems.
• Inspector review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codesenvironmental or other regulations.
• Directand coordinate activities of business concerned with project productionpricing sales and/or distribution.
• Articulateproject specifications to panel fabricators AutoCAD developers improveoperational strategies plans and procedures for meeting deadlines withaccurate results.
• Bea consultant for department personnel and supervisors to discuss and formulateestimates and resolve issues.
• Fosteran environment that monitors and maintains proper safety throughout the entirefacility.
• Analyzeblueprints and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and laborestimates.
• Championan environment of open communication mentoring direct reports and encouragingthem to grow develop and learn by providing all the necessary tools andresources for the team to be successful.
• Directadministrative duties directly related to projects and assign specific duties tosubordinates.
• Collaboratewith sales teams to understand customer requirements.
• Planand modify product configurations to meet customer needs as needed.
• Analyzebusiness or financial data by assessing the cost effectiveness of productsprojects or services.
• Allother duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements for the Electrical Panel Shop Manager

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or continued education is a plus.
• Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical fieldhighly preferred.
• 5-7 yearsâ experience with panel building highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology is required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as business needs arise.
• Attention to detail organization skills and ability to workindependently or with a team
• Results-driven personality a plus.
• Previous work experience with successful management of personnela plus.
• Strong communication skills whether written verbal or otherwiserequired especially using moderately complex terminology and concepts.
• Must be willing to travel locally with occasional overnights andhave a clean driving record.
