Job Summary

What youll do

This position is responsible for leading the enterprise transformation program for one of the major banking clients accountable for endtoend outcomes across the client life cycle from contract to delivery alignment mobilization through to golive and scale. Own executive stakeholder alignment program governance delivery quality and timetovalue partnering with Sales Product Engineering InfoSec and other internal stakeholders to ensure commitments are met or exceeded.

 

Strong technical fluency in modern banking platforms and cloud architecturesable to challenge assumptions interpret designs and ensure delivery quality

 

Must have leadership and executive presence ability to be innovative as is primarily responsible for implementing the product to a customer and collaborating with staff members on a regular basis. Advise executives regarding how to balance competing priorities and oversee projects and activities to ensure that effective business strategies and goals are met.

  • Be aware of the features and evolutions of the Pismo platform
  • Deployment requirements knowledge

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD) or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD or MD) PhD with 9 years of experience
  • Minimum 15 years of Industry Experience in Banking and Enterprise Transformation
  • Based on Columbus OH (Preferred); Willingness and ability to travel for at least 3 days a week every week for at least first 9 months of the engagement
  • Led at least one Tier1 bank core modernization from signature to production eg. Temenos Mambu Thought Machine FIS Fiserv or equivalent. 
  • Owned multiyear transformation governance with Clevel stakeholders demonstrable recovery of troubled programs. 
  • Operated in cloud microservices API streaming architectures familiar with rigorous change control release and resiliency practices. 
  • Regulatory savvy US banking controls risk frameworks with proven delivery to audit and compliance expectations.
  • Expertise in building and scaling high-performing teams with a hands-on leadership style that emphasizes mentorship empowerment and a culture of accountability.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex multi-market projects on time and within scope leveraging advanced project management methodologies (Agile Lean and hybrid models) and a pragmatic results-oriented approach.
  • Recognized for forging strong trust-based relationships with C-level executives clients and cross-functional partners ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Adept at translating business strategy into actionable plans optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and KPI management.

Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
