Job Summary
The Charleston WVoffice of Modjeski and Masters Inc. is seeking A CADD Technician with at least 4 years of bridge engineering drafting experience.
What Were Looking For
- CADD Technician with a minimum of 4 years of bridge engineering drafting experience.
- Knowledge of MicoStation drafting software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other team members
- Ability to effectively receive and convey ideas and information with co-workers and other team members
- Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred)
What Youll Do
- Draft plans and detailed drawings for transportation projects such as bridges and highways working from sketches or notes
- Draw maps diagrams and profiles using cross-sections and surveys to represent elevations topographical contours subsurface formations and structures
- Review rough sketches drawing specification and other engineering data received from engineers to develop into contract plans
- Correlate and interpret data obtained from topographical surveys and borings reports
- Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction using blueprinting photography or other duplicating methods
- Calculate pay item quantities
- Maintain Technically current methodologies
- Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks
- Calculate Pay Item quantities
- Perform additional tasks assignment duties assigned
